Alaska Metropolitan blogged about the remaking of “Ruth.” Thought the concept was cool so I just had to throw my hat in this challenge. Especially to represent the ebony/ ethnic AVs on the grid.

It was a fun challenge, but boy am I glad to be back in my normal shape.

Ahh… just a quick post for us curvy avatars.

We often dread summer because we dont want the world to see us in all our flesh (LOL). I say poo-poo to all the naysayers. Us curvy and full-figured gals can enjoy the summer too and that includes the beach.

I found nice quiet sim, supopsedly a reincarnation of Ibiza. The cool and calming waters made me want to jump in. Here I am wearing a complete swimsuit and hat ensemble from Rosemar (now M&R Cupcakes). The lime colors really go well with my darker skin tone. Green wedges from GF just top off the look.

What I love about this swimsuit is that is it one piece and it is sexy. Since I am a modest dresser, I don’t like to show lots of flesh anyway. This swimsuit gives me a sexy, playful, yet stylish look while lounging on the beach.

So don’t fear the SL beaches and waters. Get on out there in your favorite one piece, or two piece if you are daring! Enjoy these last days of “summer” as fall is right around the corner.

My goodness it is dusty up in here. That’s what happens when you go through a large inventory to decide what to purge. After a scolding from my good friend Tomi, I started to feel a lil bad that I had not been as diligient in cleaning my inventory. I won’t tell you the number … let’s just say I have been a bad girl!

Anyway, as I was deleting and purging away I came across my Canimal folder. When I first rezzed onto the grid over a year ago, I was a Canimal Animal (http://flickr.com/photos/kurka/1199026627/in/photostream/). I still shop at Canimal, but not as much as I used to. So what was I going to do with all those clothes. Should they stay? Should they go? The only way to tell was to try on something.

I tried on something I purchased but never wore. And from the looks of it, I would say hands down its a keeper! I guess all things old can be new again. My Canimal folder stays for one more year at least. Tomi would be upset I am sure, but we won’t tell her. Shhh!!!!

To really jazz up this look, I added hair from Shop Seu and shoes (another oldie) from Camie Cooper.  Jewels from my favorite place, Miam Miam completed the look. I am seen here at Joy Isle, exploring a wonderfully hidden area tucked under the rocks.
