From My Lips: November 30
Whew!
Black Friday was crazy- in real life and in SL. Hoards of folks, fleshy and pixel alike, crammed stores to load up on gifts and necessities. I avoided most of the RL buzz by shopping online. So what a shame that I could not avoid the crowds in Second Life.
From every nook and crevice of SL, there were deals to be made. Stores were offering as much as 90% off of items… creating virtual madhouses! Luckily, I was able to grab a few things in my size and head back home. Now you get to see the great gems I was able to find!
Not My Usual
I was combing through all my Black Friday notices and I came across one for Style*Innovatorz. Not a store I had ever heard of before. But they were having a 4hr morning sale and everything was 100L. So I thought I would take a peek. Interesting clothes, although much of it was not stuff I would normally wear. But I found this cute outfit– GOI Ritzy Red– against the back wall. The glitter shrug/sweater top sold me on this outfit. This is a versatile piece that can be worn with lots of other things in my inventory. I added boots from Sole Shoes and hair from Aden. I’m still in love with DoubleShot from Chai

Such Class
I tp’ed on over to the sale at Apple May. Lots of discounts with three walls of stuff out by the lake. I grabbed this outfit for 100L. A sweet, wintry, cozy shawl sweater that comes with pants (as seen below) and a mini skirt option. I added this smart looking, color change beret from Simone and a little purse from ETD to complete this classy, seasonal look.

Having Fun
I love clothing that allows me to have fun and be free. Don’t get me wrong, glam is always where its at. But sometimes, a girl just wants to let her hair down and be fuss free. The new clothing line from Kesseret, Hilarious, put me in the mood to enjoy life. In honor of Black Friday, Kess placed all her Chubby Cat packs on sale– a whopping 50% discount. I couldn’t pass up the chance to grab the cuffed jeans and knit sweater packs. You know I have been in love with her plaid cuff trousers (as seen here and here), so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. This outfit totally captured my feeling for the day and the spirit I had in my heart! What a joy.. what a life!!

Strictly Business
I’ve seen Solange all over the blogs, but I must admit I never visited the store. So I took advantage of the Black Friday, 50% off sale and went to visit. I admit the clothes are very nice, but not too much caught my attention. I was actually on my way out of the store when I saw this Winter Wool Suit. This picture does not do this suit justice. The detailing is crisp, much like I would expect to see on a suit in RL. On sale, the suit was 150L. But I picked up the fat pack for 300L, which included a black suit, charcoal suit, and brown suit and each suit had its own turtleneck. Couldn’t pass up this great deal!

I don’t know about you, but this post made me tired all over again. LOL, seriously much to much fashion to cram into this one post. Many of these designers will extend their sales beyond the Black Friday weekend, so check them out the next time you’re in-world.
