Michael Franks (Live)– THE LADY WANTS TO KNOW
I love this song. Always have and always will. Michael Franks has such a soothing voice. I asked Miles Elevethauer (SL avatar) to play it for me during one of his jazz sets. Also, see this wonderfully beautiful rendition of this song, with Chuck Loeb, Dennis Chambers, and other great musicians, live in San Javier in 2007.

I would dance around in my bedroom singing this song. I just knew I was going to marry Sherrick. Sadly, he died in the early 90s as a result of years of cocaine abuse. He was such a cutie though. I had always wondered why I never heard more from him. Like Rick James used to say (rest his soul), “cocaine is a hell of a drug!”
