Spotlight on RunoRuno
Fashion is Fabulous!
This week’s spotlight is on RunoRuno. I have mentioned this shop before, but I wanted to do a post just on the versatility and creativity of the clothing.
Like many others, I cam across RunoRuno months ago. It was a small shop with only a handful of offerings and few of them were free. What I liked about RunoRuno from the start was the mix & match ability of the clothing. It’s easy to mix & match as most of the clothing is either black or white (or some dark/light color variation). Everything seems available in every layer imaginable. This is immensely important to someone like me who likes to layer clothing. But don’t take my word for it, well really you should (lol). Seriously, take a peek for yourself! All clothes by RunoRuno and all hair by ETD.
Neutral Zone
I played a little bit with the Simple Brown Dress. I used the shirt on the jacket layer and left off the sleeves. I then added the White Tee on the undershirt layer (you will see me use this White Tee again later). I also used the sculpted leg attachments and left off the skirt (which was a BEAST to mod for my shape). I think this came out very nice. The Simple Brown Dress became a cute brown jumper!

Black Ops
For a classic winter look, I combined the Black Knit Pullover and the Black Knit Skirt. Simple and clean, this look cango from day to night and back again. To jazz things up a bit, I added funky stockings from Shop Seu and my boot of the moment– Wonder Bird– from Sweetest Goodbye (seen below in black). I believe the skirt itself is a freebie and it really is worth picking up!

White Out
Back to the White Tee again. This time, I used some of the additional layers and attachments to create the “dress” look. While the dress was too short for me, I added the skirt base from the RunoRuno Tube Dress (which is also free). Please note, this sculpted lower part of the tee is mod and after 20 min or so, I finally got it to where it looked decent. Paired with boots from SLink and this cat-eye skin from Skintight, retro is the vibe I am feeling!

I do have some small words of caution regarding modifying and fitting clothes from RunoRuno. These clothes, while beautifully made, are not made with curvy AVs in mind. Modifying the prim attachments are not too time bad, but those damn sculpted pieces can be very, very worrisome. To be point of distortion. Thank goodness most of the outfits come in every laayer and with multiple collar, arm, etc. options. So please be sure to play with ALL the options because modding just wont work on every piece.
Last tip, ETD is wrapping up its huge sale. Stop by soon to grab hair packs starting as low as 25L, as well as shoes, clothes, and accessories for 30L. Not bad if you need to pick up some last minute basics or want to try something new.
Until next time,
Kiss Kiss
