Casually Cool

January 23, 2009 Khit

Greetings Fashionistas!

I am so glad its Friday. After all the highs of the Inauguration, I am definitely feeling some lows. All that emotion really wore me out. So today is total chill mode! I am looking for the best in chill gear and relaxed fashions. With the help of Aoharu, OC, Mischief, and some help from OnRez– I’m ready to kick it on da grid!

City Slicker

Tough as nails and cool as ice, I am ready to take on the grid in this greener than green overcoat from Aoharu. To keep the rest of the look rather low key, I added a black argyle sweater from Mischief and these heavy black cords– which were free– that I found on OnRez. These cute sneakers, from Rebel, were also on Onrez and were only 1L.

Ragga Muffin

This outfit is centered around this great Mustard Set from OC. The bandana hair is so cute and the turtleneck, sleeveless sweater is a perfect fit. Once again, OnRez came to the rescue. I found these great jeans from Magi for 1L– came in a pack of two different colors (light wash and indigo) in two different styles (tight and tight bootcut). These adorable ballet shoes, which come in a multitude of colors fatpack, was also 1L on OnRez.

Mad Hatter

Nothing is sexier than a nicely done hat. And its even better whenthe hair underneath is done just as well. This freebie hat/hair combo from Cri is just the right touch to dress up (or dress down) an outfit. I grabbed this oh so true to life denim set from Mischief. A cute neck scarf and white, flower tank make my monochrome look anything but boring.

If you noticed, I used a lot of items from Onrez in this post. I have always been a fan of OnRez and often troll the site for hours looking for different and unique things to add to my inventory. Sad to say that Linden Labs™ has now taken over this wonderful tool. Goodness only knows what the impact will be; but I am sad to see Onrez no longer an independent site from Second Life™ and Linden Labs™.  I encourage everyone to visit OnRez before its gone and be sure to download its alternate SL viewer while you’re there.

Until next time,

Kiss Kiss
