Let me just tell ya, its cold as a witch’s tit here on the East Coast. Not as cold as our friends in the Midwest. I heard some towns in Arkansas are without power and will be without power for sometime!! What a drag 
. Well even SL has its fair share of cold places and spaces. Let’s find some winter fashions that keep our pixel skins nice and toasty!
Winter In The Village
Patrick McGoohan died a few weeks ago. He was an actor and starred in one of my all time favorite shows– The Prisoner. Of course, SL has a very nice recreation of The Village, which in RL is actually Portmeirion (a resort in Wales). Here I am in The Village’s Wedding Chapel; how very ironic. These wool, houndstooth pants from Project Kiwi kept the cold away from my perfect pixel skin. Teamed nicely with a sweater from Pig and ballet wedges from ETD. Since it was snowing, I thought this cute blond/ platinum hair from MADesign was perfect. no one got married; so I decided to take off and explore some more. As we like to say in The Village, “be seeing you!”

Layered Look
I want to talk about looking good for less. Now you know Khit is not above the good freebie or dollarbie. Lawd knows I have far too much of it in my inventory. But I couldn’t resist showing off the below look. Definitely winter worthy, although I was too lazy to dig for some stockings. Nevertheless, this look was achieved for less than 25L. The skin was a group gift from Cupcakes several months ago (oL). The dress, from Humming, was only 1L. Lots of cute dollarbie dresses there, at least they were about a week or so ago. [Caution on this dress-- the prim collar is NOT mod. So it is very hard to wear for larger necks. And the dress does not look as good without the collar IMHO.] The boots, from Brazilian Style (you’ve probably seen this store mentioned on the feeds) were only 20L. So for 21L we have a sweet winter outfit!! Sadly, this gorgeous hair by Calicao Ingmann Creations is not free but well worth the lindens!!

Wooly Wooly
I love wool in RL, although sometimes it can make me itch. I avoid all that hassle in SL and sport these cute wool pants from Project Kiwi. You really must check out the shop! Nylon Outfitters remains one of my favorite shops in SL and the cardigan/ shirt combination below is a perfect example of why I luv NO so much. The beaded detailing alone is just great! NO clothes just work so well with so much.. hard to resist! And can I say I am loving this hair from Caliaco Ingmann. So smexy and so serious at the same time. The personification of me, LOL!!

Alright, now you’ve some great winter looks to start off the SL weekend. I’ll remind you of the hair sale at Truth and the sale at Pixeldolls. Also, check out Brazilian Style (as mentioned above) for great boots starting at 10L and great shoes starting at 10L. The quality is good and I will add that for curvy AV’s the boots work well for us. The leg prims are mod and many of them fit well with just minor tweaking, esp the ankle and mid calf boots. Ibizarre kicks off its new build and sim this weekend, so don’t miss the great party and great fashions too!! [42] has added a new male skin and I think their 42L sale is still going on as well. So much going on, so bundle up, dress warm, and enjoy the grid!
