A Legend Has Left Us

June 25, 2009 Khit

With tears of sadness…

I was on my way back home today when I heard the news. Michael Jackson has passed away at the age of 50.

Man, I can’t believe it. I am shocked and saddened beyond words.  Just the other week, I was beginning to get excited about his tour next year. I have been long waiting for his CD to be released. Who would have ever thought that he would be gone? Gone… I mean like gone forever.

Well since tributes of all kinds will now come out of the woodworks, here is my weak attempt (in my very distraught state) to celebrate MJ in SL.

Vintage McMillian was inspired to host an impromptu dance gathering in tribute. I stopped by to do a Thriller dance with the gang that was there, including Cloris Hather, Sal Cooljoke, and Dot Chaffe.

Also, take a look at this. Doubledown Tandino  has posted a  great Thriller tribute to Michael Jackson. SL is full of such imagination.

So sad.

So very sad.

Michael Jackson is gone.

He won’t be forgotten.

Ever.

Thanks Lizzie!! Yes, good stuff indeed; goodness I can not believe he is gone. I will be doing a tribute show (one of the many I am sure will flood SL) on Saturday, from 4pm-6pm SLT. You can catch it in world or on (www.groundlevelradio.homestead.com).

I was so overwhelmed last night; I just couldn’t take it. He was truly a gifted artist and performer. :(
