Spotlight: Cupcakes

And the hits keep on coming

Alright folks, time for another spotlight.  This time, I’m doing a full blown spotlight on Cupcakes. Now, I featured a mini-section on Cupcakes sometime ago. But I think its time to really highlight the wide range of items to be found at Cupcakes.

Mimi C. and Rosemary G. are the two lovely ladies that own and run this collaborative effort. Both started out as independent designers creating a variety of clothing and accessories for women. But somehow magic happened and they came together. This partnership has created some of the most exciting skins on the grid and really terrific clothing.

All of the clothing is moderately priced, starting at around 50L for some shirts and bottoms and goes up to 200L for more detailed items. Their skins usually start at 1000L per skin, but some are as low as 800L. The update group, which is a paid group at 250L, is well worth the fee. Notice of spontaneous sales abound as well as gifts that are exclusive to the update group. Store cards are available in every amount you can think of — even 9000L. I will admit, I am known to keep a 5000L card in my iventory at all time cuz ya never know!

Recently, Mimi and Rosemary have started selling these wonderful giftbags for only 250L. These giftbags include one skin makeup (with all tones in that range), the outfit seen on the giftbag, 3 pairs of eyes, and in some cases a shape.  Group members often get advance notice of these gift bags as well as some of the super incentives when you buy one. What? You gotta be a member to find out. Trust me, its worth it!

Enough of my blabbering as I could go on and on. It’s the pics ya wanna see, so here they are. I’ll end by saying head on over to Cupcakes today. All summer garments are marked down to 100L or less. Some dollarbies are hidden around the store as well. So head down to LeZeoo, shop your butt off, and look fabulous this summer!

New Stuff From Blonde

More home decor fashions for ya!

If you are decorating your parcel for the upcoming holiday or if you need some new summer furniture, be sure to check out BLONDE.  Zedellbee Zuhal has created a few new Sun Loungers. These loungers– a sunny yellow, vinyl version show below and also a slatted version– are available on XStreetSL.  Price is 175L and the loungers come with 6 built in poses.

Here I am at home contemplating what I will do for the July 4th weekend in my new outfit from Cupcakes. Rosemary and Mimi have released a bunch of new higwaisted short sets for only 100L each. Cute color combinations and patterns for a total of about 12 sets available.  What I like about the set is that there are no prim attachments. It’s all clothing layers which I really, really appreciate!

I’m aMUSEd

Gosh its Wednesday already…

I must tell you all how very excited I am. I am officially someone’s muse!

Yes, I am the little spark of inspiration for Alejandra Jumanya bka Ms. Wetherby. When Alejandra contacted me last week, I was delightful surprised. We chatted  a bit about shapes and sizes in SL. She mentioned that she wanted to design a new dress that would reflect a plus-sized avatar. Of course, I jumped at the chance to serve as the SL model for her in-store ads. I just knew it would all be a blast!

Now the end result is here. Simply titled, Khitten Kurka Is My Muse, this dress will be one of the weekly free gifts over at Ms. Wetherby. There will also be a coordinating handbag and pair of shoes. Every week, Ms. Wetherby’s has a free, daily dress which are accompanied by shoes (usually around 20L). I won’t show you all the dresses, but here is a sneak peek to a few of them  including the dress named after yours truly ^__^!! Guess which one it is!

I am also showcasing new jewelry and clothing from Uzuri. Bella Bombast is truly a creative genius and her items are so rich and full of detail. I am always envied when I wear a piece from Uzuri. Much thanks to Bella!!!
