Time waits for no one; the weekend is all but a memory.
Where does all the time go during the weekend anyway? If your SL is anything like mine, the weekend is full of activities. Parties. Weddings. Housework. And of course, the shops! Yes, sometimes the life we live on the grid seems just as busy as the one we live in the real world. So tell me, where did YOUR time go this weekend?

One step closer to Friday, my fashion forward friends!
Okay, so last year when I did the “A Week’s Worth” column, I did a whole week of fashion from A-Bomb. It was so much fun to showcase the great fashions from Lavea, Addison, and the rest of their design team. But you know, A-Bomb is far more than funky, punky, retro fashions. They also have kick ass shoes and boots. Oh, you didn’t know that. Hmm, well let’s take a look at some of their lastest and bestest (IMHO) fashions for your feet!
There are a few things to know about shoes and boots from A-Bomb. First, most of the shoes are color-change with up to many colors options including red, blue, white, pinks, black, and other fabulous colors. In addition, several shoes are resizeable as well. Woo Hoo!! Talk about options.
A few of the styles even have heel change options– so you can go chunky funky one day or be super stiletto sexy the next. The style below is color-changeable on every aspect of the shoe– from laces to base!
The boots will run you about 300L, but for all the options included it is truly such a steal!
The shoes run about 150L and often have the color-change and resize options included as well.
So now that you know the low-down, pick your favorites and head on over to grab a pair today!
Until next time,
I don’t know who the heck Betty is, LOL.
That’s okay though. She is more than welcome to visit my new space on the grid. You can too… let’s take a virtual tour now!
A few days go I mentioned I claimed my Linden Home and had decorated it. It certainly is a challenge to decorate a home with only 117 prims. I rummaged for hours through my inventory for all my low prim home fashions. I even added a few new things too. But in the end, I’ve come up with a neat looking crash pad. With 2 prim to spare at that. Well, probably only one prim as I need to add a round rug to one area (bet you can tell where it is in the pics below).
So let’s start outside. I didn’t do too much as I wanted to keep it clean and obey all the community rules regarding the look and feel of the place. But I managed to add this adorable bench from MHFA (3 prim), green tin watering can from Clematis (4 prim), and terra-cotta plant from In Her Garden (3 prim). Small touches to make it feel like home!
So the layout of this “home” is more like a very large apartment to me. So I could not do some of the things I wanted to do because of configuration. But I managed to create some nice “themed” areas and space for talking, relaxing, and just living. Like my private rest area. Since this home is very open and I can’t tint windows, I saw no need for a bedroom. However, I made a cozy space complete with a multi-pose chaise lounger from Twisted & Bent (8 prim), a reading rug from FDD (9 prim), a small lamp and reading box (2 prims total), a floor plant from FDD (3 prim) and my Treet TV (2 prim) so I can keep up on SL Fashion!
Since that space is kinda meant for Khitt, I had to create some more open spaces from neighbors and friends to relax in. I was feeling somewhat retro and vintage so I went a little wild with it. Yet I feel the outcome is just FABU!! You be the judge, but honestly doesn’t this just make you want to kick back and relax for a bit? With excellent low prim couches and chairs from LOTTA and D-Lab (varies, 3 prim to 6 prim), folks can have fun changing poses all day long. Other accents include a great table and floor shelves from Atmosphere ( 1 prim and 3 prim respectively), alphabet pillows by Dendre Benelli (1 prim), rug from Beetlebones (1 prim), lamp and big chair by Lok’s (1 prim and 2 prim respectively) and assorted knick knacks from LiM and Atmosphere (all 1 prim). The lovely artwork was a gift from Nanuk Gildea.
The last remaining space is still in progress. You will be able to tell. It’s right off the back entrance to the home and leads from a small courtyard that connects my space and three other homes together. I wanted it to be inviting once my neighbors come over to visit. Big items here included this great, multi-pose, and totally color change sectional from Lok’s (13 prim), the best- IMHO- multi-pose and color change chairs in SL from FLUFFY (2 prim), and more artwork from Nanuk Gildea. The wonderful wall shelf and the vases (all 1 prim) are from Atmosphere.
To see how it all flows together, you are just gonna have to come on over sometime! Look me up, I’m in the phonebook, roflmao!!
Until next time,
Happy Sunday, my pretty fashion freaks!
Alright so I have been incognito for a bit. I took some time in-world to decor my Linden Home. Yes, I got swept up in the madness. I though I might as well go hardcore and trick out the place– well all 117 prims (smile). I’ll post some pics of my new space tomorrow, but I am in the Meadowbrook community. If you see me around, please say hello or drop on in. I am anxious to see what others are doing in their Linden Homes!
Since I was decorating and running around SL finding the best in low-prim furniture and “knick knacks”, I had to dress down a bit. All that moving of couches and rugs and chairs; I didn’t want to ruin my good pumps! Here is my weekend style– a woman on a mission you might say. What mission were YOU on this weekend?
Oh I am not a hater of love…
In fact, I actually rezzed into SL on Valentine’s Day three years ago. So my feelings about the holiday are more of joy and reflection as opposed to mushy kisses and scandalous lingerie. Besides, all that mushy stuff is just that. Real love is more than flowers, naughty undies, and crazy poofers. It’s real, something you can feel, touch, and know. Sorta like my three years of “living” in Second Life. A love/hate relationship indeed but one I just keep coming back too.
As I celebrate three years up in this piece, I thought I would jump in and do the ”routine” look at V-Day clothing . But I will say, these designs are great for all days “after” Valentine’s Day. I mean really, why buy it for one day? It needs to have longevity IMHO.
Alright, so hearts may scream Valentine’s Day but it was just too cute to pass up. Plus I can wear it for Heart Month and other special themed events. Or when I wanna feel loved. This was a limited edition dress from A-Bomb just for Valentine’s Day. Not sure if it is still around, you may want to check the store or the SOM to see!
This sassy number from Cupcakes works well for a night of slowing dancing with someone special. Since I roll solo, let’s just say this is my “I can look cute all by my damn self” look. Comes in an array of yummy colors and the bow accent in the front is just so… well.. inviting! Smashing right? LOL!
When if he doesn’t send you flowers, it’s okay. You can wear them and always feel loved with this great ensemble from GF. The pricing was a total steal and it comes with the shoes too!! So loving this. The shirt/tie parts work well with jeans or pants as well. Great mix and match pieces!
And since I am still boo-less, I thought to get sexy for myself this year. This group gift from Lovelace came right on time too! Nothing too racy, just enough sex appeal and innocence to keep me happy and in love with myself.
To all the lovers of Valentine’s Day make it a good one! Have fun, cuddle close, and eat lots and lots of chocolate.
