Welcome Home Betty!
I don’t know who the heck Betty is, LOL.
That’s okay though. She is more than welcome to visit my new space on the grid. You can too… let’s take a virtual tour now!
A few days go I mentioned I claimed my Linden Home and had decorated it. It certainly is a challenge to decorate a home with only 117 prims. I rummaged for hours through my inventory for all my low prim home fashions. I even added a few new things too. But in the end, I’ve come up with a neat looking crash pad. With 2 prim to spare at that. Well, probably only one prim as I need to add a round rug to one area (bet you can tell where it is in the pics below).
So let’s start outside. I didn’t do too much as I wanted to keep it clean and obey all the community rules regarding the look and feel of the place. But I managed to add this adorable bench from MHFA (3 prim), green tin watering can from Clematis (4 prim), and terra-cotta plant from In Her Garden (3 prim). Small touches to make it feel like home!

So the layout of this “home” is more like a very large apartment to me. So I could not do some of the things I wanted to do because of configuration. But I managed to create some nice “themed” areas and space for talking, relaxing, and just living. Like my private rest area. Since this home is very open and I can’t tint windows, I saw no need for a bedroom. However, I made a cozy space complete with a multi-pose chaise lounger from Twisted & Bent (8 prim), a reading rug from FDD (9 prim), a small lamp and reading box (2 prims total), a floor plant from FDD (3 prim) and my Treet TV (2 prim) so I can keep up on SL Fashion!

Since that space is kinda meant for Khitt, I had to create some more open spaces from neighbors and friends to relax in. I was feeling somewhat retro and vintage so I went a little wild with it. Yet I feel the outcome is just FABU!! You be the judge, but honestly doesn’t this just make you want to kick back and relax for a bit? With excellent low prim couches and chairs from LOTTA and D-Lab (varies, 3 prim to 6 prim), folks can have fun changing poses all day long. Other accents include a great table and floor shelves from Atmosphere ( 1 prim and 3 prim respectively), alphabet pillows by Dendre Benelli (1 prim), rug from Beetlebones (1 prim), lamp and big chair by Lok’s (1 prim and 2 prim respectively) and assorted knick knacks from LiM and Atmosphere (all 1 prim). The lovely artwork was a gift from Nanuk Gildea.

The last remaining space is still in progress. You will be able to tell. It’s right off the back entrance to the home and leads from a small courtyard that connects my space and three other homes together. I wanted it to be inviting once my neighbors come over to visit. Big items here included this great, multi-pose, and totally color change sectional from Lok’s (13 prim), the best- IMHO- multi-pose and color change chairs in SL from FLUFFY (2 prim), and more artwork from Nanuk Gildea. The wonderful wall shelf and the vases (all 1 prim) are from Atmosphere.

To see how it all flows together, you are just gonna have to come on over sometime! Look me up, I’m in the phonebook, roflmao!!
Until next time,
