Vive La Vive9!
Hate to add yet another Vive9 post to the feeds…
As everyone already knows, Vive9 is closing its doors for a little while. I tell ya, RL has a way of being a booger sometimes. I always say that no matter what, RL takes place over SL any day. Once BluAbyss works through the real life, maybe she can grace us again in this second one.
For now, the doors are closing and there is a massive closeout event going on. Over 20 freebie bags in the lobby of the mainstore. Each bag is filled to the top with all sorts of goodies. Skins. Jeans. Shapes. Leggings. Tote bags. Sweaters. My goodness, some of this stuff has yet to even be released for sale on the grid. Just amazing generosity!!!

I honestly felt so “bad” for grabbing all these goodies, so I went around the sim to see what I could actually purchase. Since many of the skin lines do not come with a very dark skin tone, I thought to try some accessories. Lo and behold, the Xian Boots were on sale as well. So I picked up a few pairs to show some general support for the Vive9 brand and all the free goodness.

As always, here is my take on some of the wonderful items you will find in the gift bags. But a word of caution for my larger and curvier AVs. Many of the prim attachments are no mod. So sleeves and such may just disappear inside of you. However, without the prim attachments the items are still wearable so see if that option works for you (just to wear the clothing layers). In the look below, I did not include the prims sleeves on the Blow-Pop Blazer and it looks great without it! The hallmark of great designs.

Alright, so I have been a tad chatty today. So I will hush after this post. Seriously though, I could not wait to blog these new skins from Cupcakes! Genius is the latest skin line from Rosemary and Mimi. Let me tell ya kiddos, it is very different. According to Cupcakes, via their in-world group, the skins have a ”hand painted feel, complete with new style of nose, eyes and lips!” I even remarked to Rosemary that the ‘nips’ were smaller too. In general, the body itself is less “dramatic” than past skin lines.
Genius will have 6 tones and 13 makeups. The makeups will be custom to each skin tone, so this really ought to be fun and interesting. Instead of a freckle option, the ladies have given us a cleavage option. Boobies… long live the boobies! Check out some of the yum yum in the Tiramisu and Cocoa tones. Skins should hit the stores later this evening so be on the lookout!

The other day I blogged about the new skirts from Snatch. I even put in my call for more lighter, pastel colors for these dramatic, yet tender sculpted skirts. Well never one to disappoint, Ivey went ahead and released a pack of more skirts in yummy spring-time, Easter ready colors. Hooray for Ivey and hooray for us too!
