Who Names This Stuff?

Alright, we focused on feet now let’s go to the very top…

I was in-world today and I received a note from Sheltered Heart along with the lastest hair from House of Heart. Called ‘Wet T-Shirt’, I expected to see something weird and perhaps not too my liking. Well as they say what’s in a name, right? I was thrilled when I tried it! Totally something I would wear (and will wear often). Nothing that says ‘drunken college coed’ or ‘spring break hoochie’… simply a long, wavy and fluid moving style. Sexy personsified!

But for the life of me, what’s up with the name?  ^__^

Don’t You Love A Good Sale?

Got a great fashion heads up for you…

If you have not heard already, SecondWave Apparel (SWA) is having a three-day sale. All SWA clothing and items are 50-75% off.  Henley tanks are going for 25L and there are some cami tops as low as 10L.  SWA is a great place for summer tanks and tops, as well as some sexy bikins as well. Too much to mention really, so the best thing to do is head on down. Sale started yesterday so there is not much time to waste. I managed to add a few things to my inventory.  Check out a sampling of what you can find at this fabulous SWA sale.

Also, Thimbles is having an EXCELLENT sale as well. Reductions between 25% – 50% off. And if you shop at Thimbles, you know that there will be tons of items for at least 5L to 10L. Apatia is often so generous so don’t be suprised to see some free items in the mix as well.

Two great sales. A whole lot of savings. Too much fashion to miss. Enjoy!

Salsa! Is Tasty

Have you had your lunch today?

In the RL, I am not a huge fan of Mexican food. But in SL, I practically devour the tasty treats known as Salsa!. Luckily for me, its not the kind you eat but the kind you wear.

Elsa and Sal, the quirky folks behind the Salsa! brand, make some of the most hysterical attachments, the most hip accessories, and in between all of that some pretty cool clothing too. Whimsical tees, bold shirts, and hip-ish dresses, all for women and for men too. Below are some great find for the not-so-serious-about-themselves fashionista. Head on over today and get a full serving of the best Salsa! in SL!

THANK YOU!

And it is with sincere thanks to all of you…

To the readers of my little blog, I say thank you. I recently hit a small milestone. I have received over 10,000 hits!

From my humble start back in early February 2008, my goal has been to showcase SL fashion from the perspective of an ethnic and plush AVI.  I felt it important to do so because there are not enough AVI that are curvy or darker toned representing this huge segement of SL life and the SL economy. As I remain steadfast in who I am and how I represent myself, I have lost some friends along the way and my modeling career has stalled a bit. But truth be told, I could not live my SL any other way.  I am who I am. Nothing more and nothing less.

Sometimes I have veered off the course, but I have tried to remain true to the purpose of this blog. I have shared my successes, my highs and lows, as well as my intreactions with you on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine that so many people would actually read and follow along in all my journeys. For that I truly thank each and every one of you that clicked through to read Kiss Kiss. YOU serve as an inspiration to me and keep me working to make my blog better.

Kiss Kiss has allowed me to extend my SL self into the RL, so to speak. As long as I can find a reason to blog, I will be here sharing fashions and blowing kisses. I hope you will be here with me, enjoying every step of the way.

Until the next 10,000 hits…

Kiss Kiss
