Happy Sunday Lovelies!

The Color Block Fair is underway with lots of great fashions and accessories for those of you that are still rocking the color block trend.  There is a ton of mesh goodness for all you meshinistas too. With a nice layout and relatively little lag, you should have no problem enjoying all the fun. Since I am not a huge fan of all things mesh (since a lot of it doesn’t fit my avatar), I kept my eyes on layer pieces and separates. With that in mind, I managed to snag a few items that caught my eye from Illmatic and Chloe.

For those of you looking for freebies and special offers, many of the stores have 1L contributions to the fair. There is also a Bazaar room with offerings ranging from 1L to 10L. Super cool.  It’s not an huge, overwhelming fair that sakes forever. It took me less than an hour to cover the whole fair. So take time to check it our for yourself and pick your color block look.

This Motel CB dress from Illmatic caught my eye immediately. It comes in several color combinations, but I went for the more muted combo of blue/red.  Paired up with a strapped platform shoe from Angel Alphaville and hair from Iconic, this color block look is very sexy and understated.

I was looking for color block pieces, not a whole look.So fate would have it for me to check out Chloe during this event. Chloe has these great pieces, top and skirt sold as separates, that are mixable. There were a ton of fun, color blocked combinations. I wanted something with a bit more punch and picked up the Sami skirt in purple and the Marie top in blue. There are belts available that match all the color combinations.

The earrings (10L, 3 pairs in the pack) and the nails (1L, blue/pink combo) were both located in the Bazaar store/room at the fair. The booth is located in the  back row of stores. I am sure more additions will be added there as the Fair rolls on, so I plan on checking back there often.
