coldLogic | Strictly Business

coldLogic had a sale recently and it was all the rage. Every time I tried to shop, the store was a major lag fest. I would teleport out of the store, so frustrated and often empty-handed. It took me MULTIPLE trips to see everything and even then— shakes my head– I could cam but so far.

Finally I was able to snag a few random pieces to create to some really nice looks. This is one designer that has a good grasp on mesh– the details are exceptional and everything fits like a dream. I’ll be putting up a few posts with all the fab stuff I was able to buy. Let’s start with these three looks below. which I call “strictly business.”

Peep This: New Shoes from Gos

Gos Boutique has arrived!

Gospel Voom has created a whole new line of rigged mesh shoes– inspired by and named after Hollywood’s sexy sirens– that use an exclusive skin matching system. The ‘OneTime’ HUD system is pre-matched to over 300 skins from over 20 SL skin designers including, the body co, Mojo, and PXL. Learn more about this new system and the HUD on the Gos blog. I highly recommend watching the video before you make any purchases so that you fully understand the system.

I purchased the Sophia Peeptoe Platform, but in the fundraiser edition. Wondering what that’s all about? Learn more by reading this page on the Gos blog.

Below I am wearing the Kate skin from PXL. The photo is not retouched in any way. So the way it looks, well, is the way it looks. And it looks flawless. The HUD is very easy to use. One click really does match your feet to the rest of you body perfectly. And if your skin is not pre-matched (many of mine were not), you can still use the HUD and manually match the skin yourself.

I will probably buy a fatpack *in the future* if more designers are added. As I wear skins from Meghindo’s, Deesse’s, Rockberry, and older skins from places like LeLutka, it would be a chore for me to manually match all the time. Hence why I purchased the fundraiser shoe. Totally supporting a good cause and trying out the shoe/system with the skins I have that are pre-matched to their system.

Grab demos of all the shoes and find your favorites. But let me warn you, the demos do have limited functionality on the HUD. This makes sense though because the HUD, once you buy a shoe, comes with a username and password for you to interface with the Gos Boutique site and load your pre-matched skins.  Notwithstanding that limitation, the demo version does allow you to see the interface and understand how it operates once you buy a full version shoe. Trust me, watching the video on the Gos blog will be a big help too.

Check out Gos Boutique in-world or on the marketplace.
