A Year-End Review

What a year it has been for {K}iss {K}iss. My little blog continues to chug along and bring me hours of fun (and sometimes frustration)!

I plan on making some content and cosmetic changes in 2016. But before I dig into that, I want to reflect on all the good things that happened this year.

What did I accomplish?

blog-543656_640This year, I added 365 new posts to the blog. That’s just about a blog post a day! Unbelievably, my longest posting streak was 22 DAYS, from March 28 – April 18. It must have been the lovely spring weather, lol!

How about this for a strange stat. According to WordPress, the busiest day of the year was April 29. The most popular post that day was Archives. It’s odd because the only post for that day was about new makeups. The archives weren’t even mentioned. Go figure!

Who visited my blog?

world-map-146505_640While most of my blog’s visitors came from the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom were not to far behind. Overall, WordPress said my blog reached readers in 75 countries. WOW, talk about a global impact! Thanks to everyone that has visited and viewed my posts.

What were they reading?

#membersonlyAccording to WordPress, these were the most viewed posts of the year.

How did they find me?

According to WordPress, the top referring sites were:

  1. iheartsl.com
  2. flickr.com
  3. facebook.com
  4. WordPress.com Reader
  5. sltransfusion.blogspot.com

Thanks to everyone that shares my posts and pics, especially on Facebook! Since my avatar does not have a page, it means a lot to me that you share my posts on that platform.

That’s all, folks. No need to bore you with all the rest! It’s all sorta technical stuff and not very exciting, lol.

If you’re a fellow blogger, how did you do this year? Link back to me or share your thoughts in the comment section.

Finally, a quick heads up. The blog will be silent for a few days while I do some “housekeeping” and whatnot. Expect posts to resume the first full week of January.

Looking forward to a bigger and better 2016!
